Sending Prayers to VA Tech Families

My heart goes out to all the families of students who were injured or killed today at VA Tech. I am praying for them all. I have a child at UVA and I thank God that this did not happen at her school. I can't imagine what these families are going through. Several of my coworkers and many in my community have children at Tech and so far they are all okay. Haven't heard any bad news yet.

On a happier note, here's DD3 with the afghan she crocheted for her new baby cousin:

And here she is with baby cousin and the blankie gift:

And last picture for this post, my progress on my "java" granny squares:

DD2 calculated that I need 128 squares and that I can accomplish that with no two being alike. What a challenge that will be!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Your thoughts are always welcome!

Your daughter's blankie is BEAUTIFUL. She must be so proud.

Love the "java" granny too.

The VT situation is awful. I can't imagine what the parents are going through. Prayers being said by me tonight that nothing like this will ever happen again.
