Just a Virginia Girl

Saturday didn't quite turn out as I had high hoped. My oldest DD and her BF came out to watch youngest DD's morning basketball game and they stayed to visit afterwards so I didn't get to the coffee shop at 2. A visit from my DD is way greater than an afternoon of stitching! We did however jump in the car and go to the coffee shop for coffee and hot chocolate and to see if anything was going on there. Well, no one was there stitching. The owner did bring her stitching but forgot her chart (she's doing a Mirabilia). I took Scarlet with me to show off. We decided that next Saturday we'd get it right. We'll see. Today I plan to go to church and in the afternoon, I plan to work on Scarlet while I watch the Daytona 500. Go Dale Jr!!
