Sunday Night

Here's my progress on Evergreen.

I worked on it today between church and DD's softball "end of season" cook out. After we ate, we played parents -v- kids softball game. It was so much fun!! I need to find a local adult league. I'd love to play softball again!
While stitching this afternoon, I watched Mr Hobbs takes a Vacation (James Stewart, Maureen O'Hara). Funny movie. I love James Stewart. I can watch anything he is in and enjoy it. Thank heavens for TiVo! I can record all of these wonderful old movies and save them until I am ready to watch them. I recently purchased The Long, Long Trailer (Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz) from Walmart.com for only $8 plus shipping. Now that's a funny old movie to stitch by! Also in my DVD collection of classic movies is Yours, Mine, and Ours (Lucille Ball, Henry Fonda), Gone with the Wind, Giant (Elizabeth Taylor, Rock Hudson), Imitation of Life (original with Claudette Colbert and remake with Lana Turner) and It's a Wonderful Life (doesn't have to be Christmas to watch that classic!). I have a wish list of classic movies at Walmart.com waiting to be added to my collection. Among them are: Move Over Darling (Doris Day, James Garner); Now, Voyager (Bette Davis); An Affair to Remember (Cary Grant); Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (Sidney Poitier, Spencer Tracy, Katherine Hepburn)

Your Evergreen is coming along nicely!

We love Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation! That movie is priceless in so many ways! We've watched it so many times that we can recite all the lines :-0
